Over the years, Virginia RINOs and libertarians helped to destroy Conservatism and the real Republican party in Virginia. People like Sen. John Warner and others worked hard to torpedo true conservatives like Oliver North. Their classic tactic was to quietly fund a losertarian in order to siphon off conservative votes.

Now Virginia is full of illegals and transplants from places like New York and New Jersey. The Northern urban areas are packed with these types in addition to federal employees. A perfect storm.
