So the question, can all these mayors and Govenors be held culpable for all the deaths that occured because of their Trump hatred allowed people to die without trying this drug?
With some reports suggesting the use of a ventilator itself may not be optimal treating COVID-19 and in some cases making the situation worse, why not use hydroxychloroquine as part of treatment?
It is stunning and maddening how Democrats/media have so politicized a very hopeful medical treatment.
So much so that even if Fredo used the malaria medicine to get better he would have to swear everyone to secrecy, lest the truth destroy his career.
A political party and its media arm that behaves in such a way is a direct threat to the continuance of the country as we know it.
These people frighten me.
“controversial”
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
All the evidence you need for it to be crystal clear we are going to be in a fight to get the country back to normal.
Here’s the thing about NY- cuomo is withholding life savign drugs for all but the most sick who are hospitalized, claiming it’s not an approved drug for the virus- and the msm scream about the practically non existent ‘dangers’ of the drug
But, if a republican was running NY, and did the same thing cuo9mo is doing (I know- it wouldn’t happen- but play along) the msm would be screaming about the gov withholding a ‘Safe and effective Life Saving Drug until it was too late to help people”
The MSM Suck!
Look at America’s numbers. Well over 500,000 infected. Over 30,000 new infections, every single day for the last week.
Now look at India’s numbers.
Less than 10,000 infections. Total.
India has four or five times America’s population.
India has a malaria problem.
Most Indians, take Hydroxychloroquine.
That is the difference.
Gov. A Cornuto (D-NY) knows best.
It’s just another one of a thousand anecdotal stories... doesn’t mean anything.
Teddy Nelson, 25, of Logan, died of complications of COVID-19 at Logan Regional Medical Center at around 1 p.m. Saturday after being hospitalized on a ventilator
Many more deaths with ventilators.
There are more preferred treatments for malaria now, and one must presume they’re using them in India. India does not have the wherewithal to execute many tests, and because they cannot test they cannot declare infections. That’s the more likely explanation.
I got no dog in the hydrochloroquine fight. I can tell you that malaria is not a virus. I have no idea why the first doc in China to ever try it chose to try it because it’s not an antiviral. Where there is smoke there is fire and for whatever reason someone tried it and there is so much smoke out there that it probably has some positive effect. Calling it the salvation treatment that will stop all of the virus’ effects on society is just setting everyone up for dashed expectations. It’s likely to help some people at certain stages of the disease, but it’s not an antiviral I’m so it’s not likely to help all people at all stages of the disease. But I suspect thorough clinical trials are going to find it’s beneficial.
One other data item. We can expect India to have a reasonably low death rate from this virus. The reason why is the age concentration of deaths. India has a life expectancy of less than 70 years old. Frankly put, they die before the virus can get them.
All excellent points!
Generally no, due to sovereign immunity. That’s a body of law that *really* needs to be overhauled, but good luck doing that as long as the swamp creatures are around.
Good points.
India is vastly more technologically advanced than you think.
You don't know what you are talking about.
