Bill Maher said it was fine to call the coronavirus the “China virus,” adding that a global pandemic was no time for political correctness.
“‘What if people hear Chinese virus and blame China?’ The answer is we should blame China. We can’t afford the luxury anymore of non-judginess towards a country with habits that kill millions of people,” Maher thundered Friday in a monologue at the end of his HBO show “Real Time.”
The longtime liberal said there were bigger “tainted fish to fry,” saying if the sun exploded many of the online lefties would whine about the first person who called it a dwarf star.

Many liberals (and RINOs) propped up China and protected it, and I suspect we’re going to see a lot of CYA maneuvers as we try to get our country back. That or a doubling down on damaging the country by placating China.
I however do I like him for one clear reason - he is a BIG thorn in the side of Liberals. He is very anti-political correctness, and it is always refreshing to see someone hammer Liberals in a way they cannot be able to respond against.
If someone like Hannity or Tucker Carlson started to say anything close to what Maher said in the Wuhan virus, within a second Liberals would switch off. Goodness, Hannity could offer to send free vials of a magical elixir of life, coupled with a million dollars a month for a year, and Liberals wouldn’t be able to hear it. But Bill Maher is one of them ...and he basically becomes like the drunk uncle at the Christmas party the family can’t ignore. He is a big thorn to the Libs in a way a Conservative could never be.
He also articles his position well in a way that hammers libs. Eg his case is clear that the rules have always been to name a disease after its place of origin/discovery, and in years past he would make similar clear cases against radical Islam (and make his fellow liberals squirm). Somethings those on our side rush too quickly, don’t check the research of their analysts, etc (eg Rush claiming a month or so ago COVID-19 was the 19th corona virus).
Anyway, Bill Maher is a nasty man. I do love how he hammers his fellow Libs in ways they really cannot respond to.

Whenever Bill Maher supports our side of an issues, people on our side rush to their computers with so much happiness and report it to the masses. I, for one, could care less what he thinks.
