COLUMBUS, Ohio—Protesters unhappy with Ohio’s social-distancing restrictions could be heard in the background during Gov. Mike DeWine’s daily briefing Thursday at the Ohio Statehouse.

(snip)

Some protesters said they are worried about how many Ohioans are out of work because of the DeWine administration’s “stay-at-home" order, as well as similar directives closing “non-essential” businesses and banning mass gatherings. (The statewide order banning mass gatherings specifically exempted First Amendment demonstrations).

(snip)

The protesters didn’t identify themselves. Multiple demonstrators said they were not with an organized group, though some appeared to be associated with a religious group, as they were carrying a cross.

Give it another week.

That's what my model says. Right after Easter when the "Past Due" notices start piling up.

Great news! More protests against Lyin’ DeWine - Columbus Organizations now shutting down events for June and July - it is insane.

Where is Postman Jr. in all of this?

DeWine is a Republican, isn’t he??

Surprisingly, many of my Leftist friends in Ohio are loving DeWine lately. Now I know why......he is acting like a Dem.

I love that sign,

“Amy lies ohio dies”

I’m so sick of her and her cult following. Simply because she can spout the doom and gloom wearing a white jacket and letting her eyes water up. It was Amy who told us 4 weeks ago 100k ohioans were infected. It was Amy who cleared out hospitals and put so many people who needed elective surgery and tests on the back burner to make space for covid infected crowds that never showed up. Amy crashed our economy and DeWine gave her the thumbs up. This is unforgivable.
Time to protest people....let’s roll!

What is it about Republican Governors in Ohio ?

“Red state governors will open earlier, and blue state governors will have riots on their hands. “

In theory, DeWine is a Republican.

*** I love that sign,

I thought I was the only one who wanted to retch when listening to Dr. Amy, (I love Obama), Acton spew her saccharine sweet lies.

“What is it about Republican Governors in Ohio ?”

Ohio is like CA was about 20 years ago. An R can be elected as governor, but only if that R is a RINO. A real Republican couldn’t get enough votes in the population centers.

This is unforgivable.

~~~
I forgive it. I was even fore the slowing of the spread in March. I thought DeWine was ahead of the curve at the time.
I also think that DeWine needs to be ahead of the curve now.
It’s time to start phasing in the resumption of our economy. The first steps need to start soon. Personally I recommend next week.
Maybe we wont be having 20k people sitting together in basketball arena’s or 25 students sitting together in classrooms next week, but based on the new numbers, it’s definitely time to get people back to work.
“i will say this,
Agreed. But that condescending tone she takes is like nails on a chalkboard.
there is already systemic damage done to the economy.
You’re dreaming if you think DeWine is going to start things back up next week. The progressive will scare him into believing he could start a re-emergence, politically that’s all he needs to hear. We’re locked until May at least.
