If I were manufacturing pharmaceuticals and this was not a drug I normally produced, I would want to know that I was going to be able to sell the product before starting to produce it. If it truly is scarce, that can be easily remedied, but nobody is going to stop producing something that has a sure market to make something else that they would be stuck with if the government won’t allow it to be used.
OK it for use and somebody will start making a lot of it.
