Took a lot of hits from lefties who know this will end the country closure for now.
Zinc has always worked on colds. I start sucking on zinc lozenges one after another as soon as I feel a sore throat until I taste metal. The cold is usually gone once the sore throat ends, never gets to my ears or chest and there’s no healing time from any infection damage. Only side effect is an upset stomach for a day. The ads say the zinc keeps the cold virus from spreading inside and infecting new cells.
The problem with HCQ is that there is likely only a small production beyond what is used to treat several (chronic?) diseases, and like a great many things only a limited ability to ramp up production in a short period of time. As for Zinc, if Zinc sulfate is in shortage, I am sure any number of other zinc compounds will work well enough, i.e. just take a zinc containing multi-vitamin. I do know that there are some conditions for which one or both of HCQ and Z-pack are contra-indicated. As for Zinc I am sure there are several Zinc compounds that are not recommended, beyond Zinc picrate which like all metal picrates has a blast turning its container in to small pieces all over the room it was stored in.
just remember, if it is working, they are still crediting our “social distancing” for all the better results.

SARS-CoV-2 is not a blood born virus. There is no evidence that this virus enters and circulates in the bloodstream. It is primarily* a respiratory virus infecting the mucus membrane tissues of the nasal cavity, trachea, and lungs. That is why all current tests for infection do not use blood samples. *Note: There has been some evidence that COVID-19 may also infect the gut causing nausea and diarrhea, along with detection of virus in feces.
Anyway, I agree that with thousands of hospitalized patients, we should be doing more to try all the combinations of HCQ + antibiotics + zinc (along with the other drug candidates)to see if there are significantly good results. We really don’t have time for scientifically pure trials that can take months to complete...
