This cannot be good. I’ve never before heard of a public health department asking citizens to disclose their knowledge of PPE and ventilator stocks. Maybe this is just prudence.

Do they think someone/groups are harboring them? Since they’re asking for the inventory of ‘large amounts’....as in...they were stolen?

Or, just asking Joe Schmoe to please help fill their stockpile?

The quantities required for an “entity”/individual to have to report in are quite high...over 500 masks for example. Looking for “big inventories” I guess. Not regular home-use amounts.

I think they are trying to send to states who need them more at this time!! CA. has very low numbers!!
