Pancreatic cancer is a real bad actor. Fast, aggressive. RIP.Unless your initials are RBG...then nothing kills you.
RIP Ms. Tripp. You performed a vital service for this country.

She was a brave lady. RIP Linda

Wow. Not that fast tho. Its aggressive with a low rate in reaching and maintaining a 2-5 year remission after treatment starts. This sounds like it went unchecked for well over a year.

Its sneaky. The first stages it flies under the radar. Some people are lucky when its detected early. I guess RBG is one of those. But to many times its detected later, and that is when its aggressive.

Normally, the death is days to weeks of the diagnosis, but nevertheless, the stuff is scary.
Of all the ways to go, that is one way I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. May Ms Tripp rest in peace.

Amazing that our SCOTUS victim is still alive and ticking.
To: pepsi_junkie
Perpetually angry because Trump has stopped her from changing America via SCOTUS

I was being a little sarcastic.
What my wife described as heartburn resulted in her entire abdomen being sliced open, chunks removed, and her entire digestive tract being re-routed.
We hours in surgery. Two weeks in the hospital. Six months of chemo. And another surgery when her colon twisted up like a ballon animal and almost killed her.
How is that? Your mileage may vary.

I also had the privilege of meeting Linda at the FReeper banquet in her honor in beautiful South Carolina. Took Amtrak from west cost of Florida round trip....another great, enjoyable experience.
Linda was a brave, gracious and intelligent lady...and certainly a conservative icon to many of us.
Rest in peace, gentle southern belle.....in our FR Pantheon of Heroines you'll dwell.
