Over 10000 today is likely. There have been 1000+ new deaths daily for the past few days and it’s reasonable to expect yesterday’s total of 9600 to increase beyond 10000 today. I’m not sure why today’s increase from 9600 to 10000+ is any more significant than yesterday’s increase from about 8500 to 9600 (approximate numbers; I didn’t look up the real values).
Are those 10k+ deaths from coronavirus, or do they include deaths from other illnesses where people also were tested positive for coronavirus?
