“Yeah, thats not what he said at all.”
This is the headline and the first line of the article, verbatim:
“President Donald Trump said Saturday he “may take” hydroxychloroquine, apparently to prevent the coronavirus, though there is no evidence the drug is safe or effective for that use.”
I meant what they said Fauci said, not Trump.
“I meant what they said Fauci said, not Trump.”
I understood. And I understand Fauci. His definition of “evidence” is much different than non-doctors:
“The nation’s top infectious disease expert, Anthony Fauci, who is often featured at Trump’s daily press briefings, has warned Americans that there is no evidence that the drug is effective in preventing or treating coronavirus.
He has described a small study involving the drug’s use as a coronavirus treatment as “anecdotal evidence,” and said controlled clinical trials were necessary to determine whether it is effective and safe for use in COVID-19 patients.”
In the above he contradicts himself; anecdotal evidence is evidence.
Add that to all the other evidence around the world that’s being reported, and there’s plenty of evidence.
But Fauci et al are being stubborn.
Something is fishy about all this.
It’s looking more like a typical flu season and more like a 21st Century version of “War of the Worlds”.
Everyone get back to work.
Then why do Rhuematologist use Placqunil name brand for the generic drug on Malaria, Lupus, Sjorgen’s and other arthritist? Niece takes it for Lupus annd Sjorgen’s. Venus Williams has Sjorgen’s and I bet she takes it.
