"No state and no city can print money"

AHA!

This is why nasty Nazi Nancy's nephew Newsom keeps referring to California as "The Nation-State of California"!

“No state and no city can print money”

Actually, the largest currency printers in the world, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing prepares all of the paper money for the U.S. at facilities in Washington, D.C., and in Fort Worth, Texas which has been in operation since late 1990. It is monitored by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing but the work is done in Texas.

Coin, Stamps, commemorative coins, and other things, are done in places like Philadelphia, Fort Knox, West Point, Denver, San Francisco and a few others. But they are all federally controlled.

They do have some work done in D.C., but the bulk is done outside the territory. The D.C.buildings are located between 14th and 15th Streets SW. That location was originally constructed in 1914.
