I’m going to have to go Monday morning for some fresh items.
Not looking forward to it.
where I live, there were lines even for the self check...they had tp but no flour and sugar ( my spouse thought I was crazy to buy 50# of sugar back in January)....everybody was courteous and friendly and I made an effort to speak to any worker there...about 1/3 of people were wearing masks...
You can do it!
I was at Costco yesterday. It was slightly surreal, but I am suffering from normalcy bias.
I went to our local Sam’s Club on Friday, almost felt like I should self quarantine for 2 weeks after being there just to be safe.
Go to the smaller grocery stores. Less crowds.
I’ve tried three stores for home delivery (pickup is out; they say so). No slots available.
Many people work at grocery stories and pharmacies. They have to go to those places every single day.
So what is Dr Birx advice to those people? Quit?
Mine to be delivered Monday. A 4 day wait though.
If you’re in a large place check local grocery chains. Ours have 7a - 9a twice a week for “Golden Years” and first responders only.
They will also deliver, we haven’t tried that yet.
Dress like you’re walking out into a storm where everybody you see is a pandemic carrier....
