I’ll go to the over 60 shopping period/day, Tuedsays 6:00am to 7:00am. I’ll get there at 5:30am with my mask and hand cleaner. Maybe it’s 65 or older, can’t remember. Anyway, younger people can’t shop then.

To get to WM in time for 60+ shopping I would have to get up at 4 am and out on the dark roads soon after. I have trouble driving in the dark and try to avoid when I can (lots of deer too). No one to go in my place. Personal Shopper for hire sounds like a new career for enterprising folks.

We did that last week. It was civilized and quasi-normal. These new policies were not in effect then. We can be “dug in” for at least two weeks now, but will do without bananas and lettuce. :(

Yikes! I've been retired over 16 years, and the only time I got up that early was when I had surgeries. I worked 3-11 p.m. most of my life, and didn't go to bed until 2 or 3 a.m. after getting home. That schedule hasn't changed at all in the years I've been retired. If anything, I stay up even later now...many times until 4-4:30 a.m. Then I get up anywhere between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. It's 2:35 p.m. here now, and I just finished having my breakfast. It's just me here, so I don't have to cater to anyone else's needs.
