On Wednesday evening, dozens of motorists parked in front of a home on Elderica Way in Lodi, rolled their windows down and turned on their cellphone flashlights to show their support for a Lodi resident who has been devastated by the novel coronavirus.
Karen Baumbach has been in quarantine at her home for the past two weeks after testing positive for COVID-19. Her husband Jeff had also tested positive, and passed away from the disease Monday. He was 57.
Shes broken, Karen Baumbachs mother, Sharleen Leal, said Thursday. I think if she wasnt quarantined and the kids could be there (shed be okay). But shes alone.

Oh Lord, stuck in Lodi again.
How horrible for her. When she needs to be surrounded by the people she loves she is isolated.
That is the most horrible thing about this monster.
It makes us dangerous to our loved ones and isolates us from them at he worst possible time, when we’re dying.

Where is Lodi? I know there is a Lodi in Wisconsin, but I doubt this story is about Wisconsin’s Lodi. It would be nice if stories were more clear.

My daughter, hubby and two kids have been living with me for years. I put hubby thru college. He is now a nurse and is starting to see covid patients on his floor.
I set up a travel trailer beside my house for him to live in until this is over.
Husband, Jeff, was morbidly obese.

Yep, 12 hour days and he’s a good kid.
Did he receive the chloroquine treatment? If not, why not ?
