The rondo is the finale of K. 331. The whole K. 331 sonata is wonderful.
I love the orderliness of Mozart.
I love little Sontinas too. Reading is a struggle for me as I played by ear for over 40 years and only taught myself how to read in the later part of my life. The Clementi Sonatinas were my “lifeline” learning how to read, so I have a special place in my heart for them. I also love two Sonatinas by Beethoven, One in F and the other in G (really easy), and of course, the first movement in “Moonlight” and the slow movement in “Pathetique”.
And so, while these pieces made be part of the standard curriculum, they are a new adventure for me.
And I am always open to a new adventure! But, once my brain hears “how it goes”, my fingers want to just play without focusing on the sheet music. That’s why I have to keep playing new stuff that I haven’t heard before. That way my eyes HAVE to stay glued to the page.
