Blacks are more susceptible because of the melanin in their skin. They don’t make Vitamin D easily if at all, and VitD is a huge immunity booster. And here’s the irony, if they do get sun exposure, it tends to make their skin darker, making Vit D production even harder to accomplish. (My black students told me this because they never wanted to go outside in nice weather, they insisted on staying in the shade). I’ll bet most people who are able to fight it off have high or adequate levels of D in their system. Plus, from what I’ve been seeing in videos, the black community is not exactly complying with the social distancing thing. I’m seeing block parties and people congregating, which is a sure way to spread the virus if anyone among them has it.

Really?

Funny how they can survive and thrive in Africa in places where the average European life span was months due to tropical disease.
