Good question. The woman reporter was not in the seating rotation on the two days in question but she was standing in the back of the room. The reason that she was attending in that manner is that she was invited to the Press Conference as a guest of the President's Press Secretary.
Who controls the room is the issue? Traditionally it has been the press to self police and that way the current President's staff can stay aloof. But now with sn openly Marxist media, all conventions go out he window.
Chanel Rion gained access by circumventing the process and attending as a guest of White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham.

Cut the session short, and when the others leave, give Stephanie Grisham special access, for exclusive interviews.
