I don’t think Fauci and Birx are evil, but they are living the epidemiologist’s ultimate wet dream.

They are getting to run an entire society’s response to an epidemic exactly the way they’ve been teaching for decades - including all the models and graphs, none of which they can be held to.

It’s all well and good but it’s also a bit of a fairy tale.

I don’t appreciate Fauci dismissing new treatments as not being possible for months. Again I think that’s because he has a bias toward managing this as an epidemiologist.

“...none of which can be held to...”. Beg to differ. I have been telling you for weeks that up until roughly yesterday this epidemic has been doubling every 2.6 days for weeks. You guys called me crazy some ten days ago when I told you we would be where we are now. But here we are.
