My favorite mid-morning guy was Mark Simone. Listening to him for years on WABC and then on WOR in New York. While I still love Mark and occasionally pop in on him, no one is as clever with the English language and as politically penetrating as CHRIS PLANTE! The guy is awesome!
I've only heard him occasionally doing substitutions, but he sounds so much like Lester Holt that I always think the TV is on, tuned to NBC.
I listen from NJ to WLS-AM (Chicago) on-line...was annoyed when Chris was replaced in NYC (WABC) by Brian Kilmeade...
