But once the dust settles and the smoke clears and the dead are carted away—including us, with any luck—and populations have been radically reduced and industrial pollution has been blown away by years of inactivity and humanity resumes Paleolithic relations with its habitat, a new day dawns and creatures recently on the brink of extinction make a miraculous recovery and a global springtime brings forth gorgeous blossoms and birds can be heard singing again, not in despair at what humans have done to themselves and their environs but in joy that there’s more room for other creatures in creation to take deep breaths of hope and inspiration.

Opinion from ultra lefty Santa Cruz, CA. The virus is good as it is forcing the Green New Deal upon us. The writer does need an editor though. Talk about run on sentences.

“The writer does need an editor though.”

He needs a 2 x 4 upside his head.

The planet doesn’t have any needs.

None.

His father likely wasted over $200,000 on this kids education.

Just when one thinks that the products of our modern education system can get worse.

Great idea - help us out and go kill yourself.

Oh, BTW - just remember who has all the guns and ammo, and who still believes in a just God watching over, guiding and ultimately judging us. Your lefty friends should be prepared for the anarchy that ensues.

Gasp, I’m displaying journalist quality control.

That’s “...can NOT get worse.”

The planet doesn’t need anything.
The sentence needs a couple periods.

Is that remark 'Racist'?

Self parody is the cruelest parody of all.

...but in joy that there’s more room for other creatures in creation to take deep breaths of hope and inspiration.

Kid, they spend their time killing and eating one another. That isn't going to change.

So huddled, cold Americans in shabby clothes looking out from a tent camp under a highway bridge will meet the goal of climate change solutions? Nearly zero carbon footprint except for a scrap wood fire for food and warmth. No planes flying overhead, no semis delivering goods and food. No factories and restaurants creating pollution. Sounds good for the environment./s

Also, China, Russia and Iran laughing themselves silly at how they honor no such climate restrictions. It was a ploy to ruin our system, not theirs.

“...springtime brings forth gorgeous blossoms and birds can be heard singing again...”

Here in SE Missouri spring has finally sprung. The trees are in flower, the birds are singing, the frogs chirping. For how crazy things are, outside, in the countryside, everything looks perfectly normal. The cattle are grazing and having calves. The world seems to be just fine. I’m going to take the dog to a nearby state park for a walk. Won’t see any people, just me and the hound.

How nauseating that yet another Beach Bolshevik exposes his basic misanthropy.

And where will he be when this glorious new day dawns? Living in his lovely West Side Santa Cruz mansion? With the water still running, the heater still working, his Prius still charging off his Chinese made solar panels?
