I wouldn’t be surprised.

Perhaps not related to political ideology but there is a trend in my town that doesn’t make sense. Our primary, of two, grocery stores is restocked daily. I have been there twice in the last two weeks at about 1-2 PM and the shelves are empty of many types of items. IOWs to get anything you need to get there at 7:AM. Meaning that there must be a big rush in the early hours.

I will do without the things I can’t find rather than join crowds of people buying everything they can get their hands on. This in a tourist town which has closed the doors to tourism so people are buying many times the quantities of food that they normally do since fewer people are here to buy it.

I work in a business that deals with the public and we don’t have gloves or anything else, I did a couple of things, shopped in the middle of the day during the week and didn’t have too much trouble finding what I wanted but for some things like hamburger meat and chicken and pork it was getting to the end of what they had for that day. Also I was driving for Lyft, I’m sure activity has lessened so the money isn’t as good, but primiarly because i work with a lot of elderly people and so trying to lessen possible exposure for their benefit.
