Elizabeth Holmes would have been right on this problem.

The remains of Ms. Holmes’ company are suing companies coming up with rapid tests for COVID-19.
Also, Ms. Holmes was absolutely a fraud; her products did not work - and got people killed.

Bedside testing is some of the most expensive out there.
Convenient...but expensive.

Put these at the airports so we don’t have to close down travel.

But is it bigger than a breadbox?

If they made a test that didnt involve shoving something up your nose all the way to the throat(Which Im sorry I could never do that!) people could do the test at home, mail it in and get results emailed to them. Would be nice to know how many months this virus has really been around, no way did it arrive by carrier pigeon 2 weeks ago

No, Mr Allen it is smaller than a bread box.

I wouldnt give Elizabeth Holmes credit on this idea. The concept of having a small portable device to do testing has been around. Blood glucose tests for example. Her idea which didnt pan out was to take a tiny amount of blood and be able to do a large number of tests using a small device. The only thing in common between her idea and this devise appears to be it being a small device and being used for medical purposes. Differences: Hers was for blood. This is for saliva. Oh, and this one supposedly actually does what it claims to do.
