It was a voice vote. Representative Massie of Kentucky tried to get a recorded vote but he was voted down. On a voice vote. He then tried to get a quorum count. He was voted down. On a voice vote. No other Republicans backed him up.
Supposedly Pelosi had made sure that there were 216 members ( a quorum) in the chamber but we will never know for certain.

Yes....I had posted, earlier, about the efforts Rep Massie was trying to make, to force a Roll Call/recorded vote.

At least someone tried to offer transparency on this Porkulus bill. :-(

If a quorum had been present, she would have allowed a roll call vote.

If not for Massie, this would have passed with a near-empty chamber.

The House has failry sophistcated stup for times when quorum can't be obtained on acount of catastrophe, and those rules mention on reason of conatgion. Knowing they'd not want to come back, even those rules were never invoked.

Screw the rules for them, don't try this at home.

Massie definitely had the votes, for his firing squad.
People scrambling to get back to D.C. and ChiCom Virus each other up in chambers.

They want to murder this guy. He put everyone’s health in jeopardy. He put millions of Americans in deeper jeopardy.

President Trump only wants him thrown out of the party.
Getting soft in his golden years.

Nancy is an evil witch, but she is also a skilled parliamentarian, which is why she has lasted so long. It is almost certain that had 216 Reps for a quorum there or enroute so they could vote today.

She ain’t stupid, which is why she is such a pain in the a—.

How did he get voted down? I thought any single member could force a quorum count, and I didn't think it took much to force a recorded vote as well?
