My in-laws love cruises. My father-in-law was bragging about an upcoming cruise. Mentioned the stop in Ensenada as if it was an exotic port of call. He got all defensive when I told him its a third world sh*thole. My mother-in-law, to her credit, never got off the ship.
We never got off in Ensenada, either. It looks like a sh!thole from the cabin. Actually, we hardly ever get off while in port any more, as we’ve been to most of them before. Sometimes we buy coffee at the pier in Columbia. In Hawaii, we visit friends, because we lived there. The cruise itself is the destination for us, and we love at-sea days.
Ensenada is worse than Tiajuana.
