Trump is the Democrats wet tar baby.
‘reactive children’
When you are objective, you act. When you are subjective, you REact.
And God knows... Liberals are married to their subjectivity!!
“Only medicine will stop this threat.”
Well, also our immune systems.
Sky is blue. Water wet. Ice is cold. Media...predictable
While the disgusting, deservedly-hated,
nothing if not self-serving Congress,
and the alcoholic fawning egotist Pelosi,
did absolutely, positively NOTHING, ZED, Zero, nada,
the ELECTED PRESIDENT Trump more than a week ago
laid out the means to save the entire US population
by giving A cure to the Wuhan Virus in open discussion,
even as Hillarys-LittleFauci sneered and tried
to stop him including falsely purporting
the then-proven multisite clinically proven
data was anecdote.
America is blessed by having President Trump.

As long as it’s prescribed by a doctor, and bought/sold via a legit pharmacy...I don’t see what the problem is. I’d prefer not having dope dealers on the street....selling some fake stuff (which is where this is going if a bunch of dimwits try to outlaw it).
They are bratty little kids who throw temper tantrums at everything. A public spanking could do a lot of good.
Trump is very wise in being optimistic about HCQ. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain. If it works, he’s a genius. If it doesn’t work, no harm is done. Meanwhile, it exposes the media. Trump knows that everything he does is going to mischaracterized by the media. He also know his base knows this, so the media has no credibility anyway. If HCQ works, Trump will shove this down the media’s throat. America wants an optimist now. The Rats and media are not optimists.
The drug is chloroquine. There are three formulations: hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine sulfate, and chloroquine phosphate.
What’s interesting here is that we keep talking about hydroxychloroquine, but the most common distribution is chloroquine phosphate, which is listed in my Nurse’s Drug Handbook.
Why do I mention this?
Well, everyone got their panties in the wad over the AZ couple who self-medicated. Turns out the substance they were taking is actually a legit form of the drug (although non-FDA approved, more on that in a sec). The problem was that they each took at least 3.2g, which is a toxic dose for a 352lb person, and lethal to a 235lb person.
Regarding this being “fish tank cleaner” - it’s not, really. It’s an amebicide substance that is used for antimalarial purposes. Bear in mind that there is fish tank penicillin, amoxicillin, and ciprofloxacin. As most preppers and special forces operators will tell you, these are valid antibiotics in an emergency situation, as long as you observe usage, dosing, and contraindications.
Al these “fish” medicines are labeled “not for human use” to pass FDA approval so they can be bought without a prescription. It is ALSO true that they are not as rigorously QCed as human counterparts, so it is *possible* that the drug contains a contaminant harmful to humans.
Possible, but not extremely likely, and exceedingly rare in lethal doses.
Bottom line: the AZ couple died because they ODed on the stuff, not because it was “fish tank cleaner.”
(They were also taking it as a prophylaxis - they didn’t actually have COVID19 yet.)
Shhhhh!
I’m negotiating on The Dark Web for the home based recipe to turn chloroquine phosphate in hydroxy chloroquine.
It’s been the better part of two weeks since Tucker morphed into a reactive child over the China Virus. I may go back to watching him once this passes...
the media has no credibility anyway
I’m holding Rachel Maddow to her word, and the others at NBC/Concast as well: If they get covid-19, they will refuse to let their doctors prescribe any medicine mentioned by Trump.
You don’t need to. See post #10.
“Its been the better part of two weeks since Tucker morphed ...”
Tucker is the only commentator/host on Fox I can watch.
And since I don’t watch CNN or MSNBC at all (or ABC,CBS,NBC) that makes him the only commentator/host on any of the media I can watch.
I don’t agree with everything from Tucker, but he has an independent, analytical, common-sense-oriented approach that sets him apart from Hannity (a GOP talking point reader) and the blonde lady who comes on after Laura (Bream?), who seems to be stuck in the Bush-Cheney years, never receiving the memo that neo-connism failed and has no credibility.
Laura is willing to question the GOP party line occasionally, but her style - constantly interrupting guests - turns me off.
So that leaves Tucker.
And Pawn Stars on the History Channel. Unfortunately, it’s not on every week.
We do know that it works. We are just waiting for the bureaucrats with their clinical study to say it works. That is on a high speed train. Likely in about a week to 10 days.
Exactly. I don’t know if these people messed up their math, or had no idea how to manage dosing, but 3.2g is a ridiculous amount to take.
THAT’S what killed them.
I’ll tell you what: in an emergency, when other sources were unavailable, I would take the fish stuff in a heartbeat... BUT be careful about dosing. 1/8th of a teaspoon of that powder has 400mg. That’s hard to get the dosing right. Measuring 1/16th of a teaspoon? Yowzer.
According to the Nurse’s Handbook, you are supposed to keep your three day consumption to 1.5g or less. So it might be easier to measure out 1.5g - which is LESS than 1/2 teaspoon, and then split that into 3 doses, one for each day. The first dose is actually supposed to be .6g and then another .3g 6 hours later.
That’s the regimen for malaria, though. This underscores Fauci’s cautious comments. You don’t know what the proper regimen really is for coronavirus.
Tucker is right.
