Thank HEAVEN!
Your screen name could not be more appropriate.
I have been trying to get the Senate Bill to view all day, and am so relieved.
We have more than enough to deal with as it is.

Tatt

How many pages is this monstrosity ? The congress is full of bums and degenerates who despise Free American Citizens...except seeing them as serfs. Pox upon them.

Yes.... Vote Harvesting is thankfully OUT, but $25 million still goes to the freakin' Kennedy Center in DC, and there's some "big win" for the unions re: small businesses (sorry, I don't know the specific details).

Oh and another $25 million goes to the House of Representatives for "salaries". Sickening.

880 on the site I found, though it did say something about two files?

I honestly have NEVER been as angry with political games as I have been with the shenanigans surrounding this bill. The only thing that comes close was Obamacare. I did a quick skim and I don't think there is anything TOO concerning in the bill, probably not all we'd like it to be, but that's politics. I'm still kind of holding my breath as I review. And, of course, there's always the possibility the House Democrats will continue the shenanigans tomorrow. *sigh*

Take care.

True, but at least with the election legislation out, we still have a chance at minimizing future soakings ;)

Stay well,

No worries. If it’s any consolation, we’re going to find plenty of garbage to bark about tomorrow. This is far from an ideal “relief” package.

Though I agree with aid to the arts, like the Kennedy Center, because they are hurting also, I can’t see how $ 25 million is justified. I’m sure $ 10 million would have carried them over the 4 months.

The money to NPR and PBS, needs to be reevaluated. NPR peddles leftist propaganda and deserves no funding, should be privatized. PBS does bring worthwhile programming to the country and should only receive some funding to assist that. The news division deserves no funds at all. More than enough news sources & they promote the left’s agenda. Frontline & all that sh*t needs to stand on it’s own.

The poster determined they hadn’t properly downloaded the latest document. All is good, as far as the understanding is concern. The bill, however, looks to be typical Congressional garbage. What should have been a straightforward relief for the working Americans is nearly 900 f*cking pages!
