The spot fuel cost may be lower, but the interest and capital payments on the planes continue. Most airline fuel is paid on long term contracts so no benefit there. The maintenance costs may diminish somewhat, but there are still maintenance costs. The airlines lease costs to the various municipalities continue unabated etc. so with no income coming in and outlays only somewhat diminished no joy there. The passengers who do fly risk getting a serious illness so no winners there. Rather than everybody wins everybody loses
When the TSA was first organized. Area airports were given the option to contract out that to private services.
Good, I then they have time to do a temperature check during screening. You got a fever, boarding denied.
