Since so many are on Medicare, Medicaid and/or have insurance, aren’t the hospitals awash with receivables? I’m sure their billing departments aren’t shut down.

Most hospitals make their money on elective procedures, which are not happening right now

Yes they are; they are considered “non-essential” and have been sent home. MANY are struggling just like the others having been sent home without work.

Just about everything is all geared to the coronavirus and if their specialty is say, surgery, they get sent home without pay.

Medicare and Medicaid pay $0.50 on the dollar. With no regular customers, hospitals would go broke.
