Regardless of how much Democrats try to twist Trumps' words and attack him for his response to this health crisis, the American people still trust Trump more than the media.

The media gets lower marks on its performance Maybe that's because "media" is a Latin plural noun and requires a plural verb and a plural pronoun. Yet the very people who make a living with words don't know that, which does little to enhance their credibility.
It's a common enough mistake, and one that's permissible among ordinary citizens. But it is slothful and sloppy for so-called professionals.
