Faucci used teh usual bureaucratic dismissal when they have lost control of developments - "it's anecdotal."

I don't know him, but I know this type and they are the bane of scientific progress. I won't give him a pass on his hyper-risk averse bureaucro speak.

I've heard Fauci use the term "anecdotal" but it wasn't clear to me he had seen Didier's study. Didier's peer reviewed study including a control group, a hydroxy-c only group and a hydra-c and AZ group isn't anecdotal. It may not be a large enough sample size for his tastes, but it isn't anecdotal as I have heard the term used in similar situations.

Regardless, it's all moot now for both sides. NYC is going to provide the sample sizes to know with pretty good precision how effective this treatment is. Even if it is 85% effective as opposed to 100% it will be a game changer,.

Has anyone publicly asked Fauci why we have shut down our economy for the C virus but did not do so in 2009 for the H1N1 which infected 60 million Americans and killed 12,000? Also, did he recommend it then? I think he was in the same position of authority as he is now.
