You could well be correct, but I felt fine except for the days when i couldn’t draw a breath. That had never happened like that before.

The dry cough that wouldn’t leave was also new and different.

No temperature either, which would have indicated flu., so I’m not convinced either way.

I had the flu in Jan. First time in a decade or more. I had been getting the shot but did not this season. I had fever for a day, then a dry cough for two weeks.. Not much congestion, just a day or two.

The oddest symptom by far was after a week or so, everything tasted bland/terrible. I lost weight because I didn't feel like eating. It wasn't nausea, but there was some of that at the beginning.
