Is there a source for comparing the number of deaths in Italy, especially by age group, for winter 2020 and a few recent years? That would help see if many of the deaths attributed to the C virus are actually within the normal number of deaths.
Take a look at the Flu stats for 2020. Italy has a significantly higher severe cases of flu as a % of total cases of flu. when you look at same % for US, US is significantly lower. presumably same strains of flu. South Korea very low %. China high %. Interesting pattern. The chart was part of the controversial post / essay from by Adam Ginn on Medium.com yesterday that was subsequently remover.
All I have is the link I provided. It is clear that the death rate goes year by year with relatively consistent and predictable inctrases. No doubt Northern Italy will experience a slight spike.
Thanks. If the death rates were reported by age groups, it would probably be even more informative.
