Great comparison between corona and h1n1.to me the biggest difference is that the drivebys were not waging a 24/7 war against trump by claiming how we were all gonna die if Trump didn’t turn the country into socialist and spend more money than we have to fix it.They have won so far but winning over Trump is something that seldom happens if we can stop all the nonsense in 10-15 days a lot of the damage will not be done longer that that and the economic damage will be severe.
I’m not so optimistic. Consumer confidence has been badly shattered. Bricks & Mortar Retail was already on the rocks due to the Amazon. A serious dip in the Housing market would send a huge 2008 style aftershock through the economy.
Also, I don’t expect the Dems and Fake News will allow anything close to normalcy before the election. They’ll be demands for huge new entitlement programs, leaks, etc.
Fauci joined NIH in 1968. He has been working for the Federal government for 52 years. If you look in the dictionary for the definition of Deep State, Anthony Fauci has his picture there. He has been in his current position for 36 years. I don’t care how good you are. It is bad for an organization to have the same person in charge for that long. It stifles change and the development of subordinates who are blocked from advancement. Fauci’s imprint on his office is indelible and constricting. Not good for the country.
