"All the grocery stores are going to have pallets of toilet paper sitting in the aisles and nobody is going to buy it because who needs to buy toilet paper when you got a year's worth sitting in your garage," Daniel Stanton, a supply chain expert and author of "Supply Chain Management for Dummies," tells CNBC Make It. But what about food? Even if the COVID-19 pandemic stretches over months (President Donald Trump said it could last until August), there will no big food shortages, especially on staples like milk, eggs, cheese, bread and meat, according to three supply chain experts who spoke to Make It.

Back in the early 50’s my Mother used to get horse meat at the market, we all thought it was pretty damn good.
I’ve got the same problem finding Crystal Pepsi, buddy.

My SIL in north central CT said there is no chicken or hamburger in her grocery stores.
Some places are already limiting amounts of meat people can purchase to stave off hoarding.
Lots of beans help with distancing.

Drinking ‘DISTILLED WATER” is not a good idea, it pulls the minerals out of your bones and body in general.
Water is not called the “UNIVERSAL SOLVENT” for nothing.

I saw one guy, a senior like me, at the grocery store with 6 gallons of milk in his cart, bragging to his wife over his cell phone about his purchase. Unless they have a half dozen or more grand children, that milk will just go sour and to waste before it gets used. Maybe he was buying for his neighbors, and jackin up the price? Silly.
That makes sense.
Foodstuffs going to restaurants are way down in volume.
That grub is going to be redirected to retail, although it takes time to do this, especially with packaging.
