"A person at the White House used the term 'kung flu.' My question is: Do you think that's wrong?" Alcindor asked again.
"No, not at all. Not at all," Trump said, adding that Asian Americans "probably would agree with it 100%. It comes from China. Theres nothing not to agree with."

These Democrat liberals are so caring, hypersensitive, touchy and thinned skinned.
And if ya believe that you'll believe anything.

Compared to what I call reporters, “kung flu” is pretty tame.

That's not even close to how the conversation went. I watched it. Not that I'd care if he'd responded that way. But she also referenced the "Chinese Flu" which is what elicited his "not at all" comment. With regard to "Kung-Flu" he asked if she knew who said it, asked her to repeat the term, she hedged, he asked her again, said "Kung Flu?" back as a question. Then said he hadn't heard that.

Wrong is how the bastards try to trash Trump. Saying “kung flu” is funny, but these bastards have no sense of humor.
This to trap Trump. Watch the headlines: “Trump refuses to condemn racist epithet.” From that, they will go around saying that Trump is racist.
Same method they used at Charlotteville.

And Im being polite by not calling it a chinX fluThe other day, a very sensitive mod, deleted my post because I has the temerity to call it the chinkvirus.
If they delete this one, I'll know that they are so sensitive, that they no longer need or want my quarterly donations and I will miss FR.

It wasn't. I watched it. It is a misquote to try to make him look bad. His TRUE response was actually better. He forced her to repeat the term and then said it once himself, but then said he hadn't heard that.
His "I have no problem with that" was in response to her asking about calling it the "Chinese Flu".

Were they calling it Hong Kong Fluey?
I would call it a "Chinese-made bioweapon that originated in Wuhan, China" and hold all those pushing a false narrative that it originated elsewhere under suspicion.

They are already misquoting the question and response completely.

Thank you. It is rare that I've been able to watch him as he says it and then see the deliberate misreporting of it so quickly after.
