Donald Trump’s department of justice is seeking to drop charges against two Russian firms indicted by Robert Mueller, amid concerns they are seeking to exploit the process to obtain sensitive information, it has been reported.
The firms, Concord Management and Concord Consulting, were among 13 Russians and three entities charged by the special prosecutor in February 2018, claiming they tried to subvert the 2016 election and to support the Trump campaign.
“The indictment alleges that the Russian conspirators want to promote discord in the United States and undermine public confidence in democracy,” Rod Rosenstein, then deputy attorney general, told reporters. “We must not allow them to succeed.”

There was none. United States v. Concord Management and Consulting LLC. was created during the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Like the indictment of 12 GRU officers, the Concord indictment was filed with no expectation that the Russians, residing in Russia, would ever show up in an American court room to defend themselves, and Mueller office could boast it had brought some two dozen indictments.
Special Council Robert Mueller indicted the proverbial ham sandwich. Concord Catering had also been charged, which did not exist during 2016 presidential election.

The actual reason is the firms did not bow to Muller and fought back by going to court. This resulted in the requirement that Muller disclose everything during discovery which would kill the whole thing and bring the spotlight back on the gov. So this is actually bad because it prevents discovery and opening up the sordid mess.

BS. They were never expected to actually go to court, i.e., Mueller and Weinstein got caught with their puds in their hands and they were afraid that their manufactured evidence would be exposed.

The Mueller “Probe” was not about due process.

So, the defendants actually wanted to see the evidence against them, and the prosecution wasn’t prepared for that ... fric...in idiots.
These indictments are completely ridiculous, so it is good that they are being dropped. The US government should be compensating these people for their wasted time and money.

This is exactly why people said it was stupid at the time.
Charges were probably as bogus as the Mueller investigation itself.
