To me the only number to watch is the death rate. How many actually contract the virus is unknowable. Getting scared and projecting from Chinese or Italian experience is a waste of time. Look at the Swiss. They have a high infection rate and low death rate.

Bad comparison. Switzerland is much smaller geographically AND they've instituted tougher measures nationwide than we have in order to flatten the curve and avoid the breakdown of their healthcare system.

Not a bad comparison. Their measures are the same as ours. Small country or large isn’t part of the viruses strategy. They have a dense population even though it’s small which is why they have 2,200 cases for a population of less than 9 million. If we had that ratio we’d have 73,000 cases instead of 4,400. They have managed it much better than Italy which is where their cases came from.
