FWIW here in Indiana, they are packing up the school breakfast and lunch grub into one week packs and using the bus drivers to distribute it to starving youts. Let no youts be going hungry!
When I was young, the parents fed their children. I fed mine. We had a table where we sat and eat at each meal time. Morning and evening during the week and morning, noon, and evening on the weekend.
And one of two things is going to happen.
Either it will get tossed like most of school lunch food does.
Of the parents will eat it and the kids will still go hungry.
I've seen both way too often.
