The only tests I have heard of is samples have to be sent in. Perhaps someone is trying to develop a rapid test, standard to reason. How quickly can such a test be standardized, manufactured, and distributed? I’m guessing three weeks is impossible. We will know what the death rate is in three weeks.

IIRC, there’s a quick test, swab-type, 12 to 36 hours, that will tell you yes or no at the time you’ve been tested. Then there’s a blood test that’s being worked on that may also tell you if you’ve been exposed. That latter would be especially good to determine how much the WuFlu has been around and maybe for how long. If I understand this correctly. :-)

We are geared for 1.9 million tests this week, they all will be sent to labs.

People should watch the WH press briefings. There’s one this morning. Watch on the White House youtube channel.
