That's not true. I was watching oil during the speech and it did NOTHING, while the Dow shot up 770 points.
Then AFTER Trump mentioned buying "a ton" of oil, the price went up nearly $2 per barrel.
Yes - that did it. I was working during the speech and was watching Bloomberg (no audio) during the speech. Early in the speech, the market was dropping and I was wondering, "What is he saying," ... "then I saw oil shoot up and the market reverse, didn't realize Trump made that remark.
