We are NOT on the same unfortunate trajectory as Italy. Northern Italy is full of people working in the leather/textile industry from China, and many of them went back to China over the Western New Year holidays--just when the original SARS-CoV-2 virus was spreading the fastest. No wonder elder Italians afflicted are passing away at a shocking rate.

Yup.
Italy is older, sicker, broke.
And their healthcare system is a mess.
We ain’t Italy.

One thing that China is doing right is exploring the use of low cost, high strength Vitamin C. I having been using Vitamin C 3 or 4 times a day, from 3 to 6 grams a day for more than 45 years. At 81 years I am in good health and almost never sick. As reported in the link below, 3 Chinese trials are using Vitamin C in amounts as high as 24 grams, and possibly intravenously. If this proves successful, Big Pharma will not be happy, Vitamin C is inexpensive.
