The market may drop hard depending on how many draconian measures are contained in this national emergency protocol. So don’t be surprised if the Dow Jones goes south in the last hour of trading today. It is what it is, and we just have to endure the short-term punishment. I’m holding on to my portfolio which is well-balanced as my retirement is years away. This too shall pass, and markets will come roaring back.
I retired last year, though I won't need to touch my portfolio to any significant degree for some years. But there are people whose livelihoods and life's savings are being severely injured over this nonsense.
