Diesel to go below $2/gal?
I hope it’s Summer Diesel.
No, jet fuel is not diesel. It is actually a kerosene which has a low freeze point-doesnt thicken like diesel does at a ultra low temp.
All you need to do is take a whiff of the exhaust from a turbine and you can ID it as kerosene. That is if you have ever smelled exhaust from kerosene. They also use additives to prevent “gelling” in Jet fuel in certain areas.
The cheapest gasoline around here (non-membership store) is $1.77. Diesel is $2.29
