It’s not clear but probably only FROM. Any Americans who don’t want to be stuck in Europe had best QUICKLY book travel (to occur by Friday) back !
I believe he said Americans in Europe can still travel back but would have to undergo new screening procedures.
The opening sentence makes it clear: “he will suspend all travel FROM Europe TO the U.S. for the next 30 days.”
He is not, as of this statement, stopping anyone here in the US from traveling to Europe. Great Britain is excluded from the ban.
So far, only from. I fly to Germany on Saturday morning...should be interesting.
