*shrug* We're still due for a Yellowstone super volcano eruption.

And if that ain't enough, there's data showing our sun is a periodic micro nova star.

Periodicity is about 12,000 years.

The last blast was about 12,000 years ago.

You can still have a couple things to look forward to...

The Cascades are more of a dire threat than Yellowstone. In terms of geological history.

I wager the volcanoes in the Cascades will blow before Yellowstone does. Might want to check your public education on that one. And yes, scientists are frequently wrong.
