The 2nd wave of feminism was about birth control, abortion, no fault divorce, and equal employment opportunities. McCormick was used and took advantage of, but pro-abortion females (Linda Coffee and Sarah Weddington) were the ones that took advantage of her, riddle me that.

Susan B. Anthony comes to mind, but the early suffragettes who worked for women’s right to vote were pro-life.
Betty Freidan, Gloria Steinem, et al., were not the early feminists by a long shot. And I have no idea why they embraced the anti-woman practice of abortion... unless they were profiting from it.
