The proper immediate response is for McConnell to move that the Senate censure him for this inappropriate conduct. If he doesn't show proper contrition then the Senate can remove him from office. The Senate has the power and duty to expel any member who exhibits conduct unbecoming a US Senator.

Schumer's remarks crossed the line, especially when he hit back against Chief Justice Roberts. This cannot get a pass.

Yes...that’s why this will go furthr I think. But is that exactly what they want????? I’m suspect of this as Shulmer knows better unless it’s purposeful....Pelosi ripping up the SOTU speech as well....these are extrodinary old moves so what are they up to?
