The writing is on the wall for Bernie. He will NOT be allowed to be the Dem Nominee.

The question is.. Does he stay in for the best possible Dem pay off? A few more mansions?

Or, will he be pissed enough at being hosed a second time that he takes a scorched earth approach and goes 3d party run?

I don’t think he/ they can keep his minions in check to NOT run.

Bernie’s not worried about being the nominee, he wants to push the party left... and he’s been successful.. and will not drop out... Look at any debate, what policies are they talking about? Nearly everything is Bernie’s platform...

The thing is, his minions aren’t “Bernie’s Brownshirts” anymore and while I think that they will run a socialist party ticket (as they have spent three years preparing to get a three month petition drive to qualify for the ballot in each state) I don’t think Bernie will necessarily be on that ticket if he can’t deliver the Democrat party endorsement.

This will be about who leads the left going forward.
