Who better to have as president during the coronavirus epidemic but a renowned germaphobe, the “build-the-wall” guy who refuses to kowtow to China?
It’s a unique set of characteristics showing that President Trump understood early the need for decisive measures such as travel restrictions on China, which he imposed in January.
Yet, for that sensible decision — in defiance of the World Health Organization — he was criticized by Democrats such as Joe Biden as xenophobic, and by China as racist.
“This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria and xenophobia — hysterical xenophobia — and fearmongering,” said Biden the day after the travel restrictions were imposed.
CNN ran a story warning that “the US coronavirus travel ban could backfire” and have the effect of “stigmatizing countries and ethnicities.”
The Chinese Communist Party’s official mouthpiece, the People’s Daily, called the ban “racist.”
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned it would increase “fear and stigma, with little public health benefit.”
It is hard to have much confidence in a United Nations bureaucracy run by the former health minister of the Marxist regime of Ethiopia. In 2017, Tedros tried to appoint then-Zimbabwe dictator Robert Mugabe as a WHO goodwill ambassador, and he seems to have a soft spot for China.
The Council on Foreign Relations think tank said last week that Tedros owes China because it backed him in the election to become director-general in 2017.

*Gallup* is showing that 77% of America is confident that the President can handle the China Flu.
That’s the thing, right there. Nobody says a word about what they would do differently.
It’s also worth noting that President Trump quietly started taking action in *January*. This administration is not given to crisis invention.
It’s great when grownups are in charge, isn’t it?
This administration immediately established quarantine facilities, restricted travel from the affected regions, set about developing a vaccine and as such, only 70 people out of 330 million have been infected, with two deaths.
If Obama were still in the White House, the “media” and these same people castigating Trump would be singing prayerful hosannas to His Holy Name.
What is the reason that the CDC does not inform the American people the race of the people known to be infected or having died of COVID-19 coronavirus? They have the data. What are they hiding? It is a given and expected that the MSM won’t investigate or report this information as they will slavishly follow the politically correct line. However the truth should not be hidden from the American people. Thus far it appears that Asians have a greater likelihood to become infected and die from this infection than Caucasians or Africans. Tell the American people the truth.
Consider the following:
1) At the epicenter in Wusan there were many Caucasians and Africans living and working. Very few became infected or ill. None are known to have died.
2) Between Dec15-Jan 23 thousands of people entered multiple points in the US from Wusan. The virus is here. Yet there have been no unmistakable China or Korea outbreaks in the US.
3) The region in Italy where the outbreak occurred is heavily populated with Chinese immigrants and Asian guest workers.
4) The Iranian genome has a large Chinese imprint. The Silk Road transversed Iran. Chinese caravans coming out of the Asian deserts and mountains dallied in Iran. The Mongols once conquered Iran. The modern Iranian population very well may carry the gene that makes individuals very susceptible to this virus.
The CDC has no right to hide thee truth from the American people. Dr. Fauci when he speaks about this disease must be asked what is the race of the people in the US who are becoming seriously ill from COVID-19 coronavirus.

And yet all I’ve seen at other sites is criticism of him taking too long to respond.
They speak out of both sides of their mouths.
He can’t do anything right for them.
The Dems and the media are creating this panic for political purposes while Trump is being realistic. If the media is going to announce every new case, which they will, their newscasts are going to become even more boring.
Beyond that...has one member of our simpering TDS media come out and asked the ORIGIN of this pathogen?
Is it a bioengineered unnatural pathogen against which the population has no natural defense? Who created it, where, and why.
Is there any suspicion this is or was a deliberate bioweapon attack by a State or nonState actor? If so what is the goal, and how effectively will this pathogen achieve it? If it was an accidental release, then from where and who created it and what was the intended use?
The silence of the so-called press on this is astounding. Have they been ordered to not touch this?
Instead of honest inquiry reporting, we are forced to endure these patronizing pseudo intellectual media snobs using public pressers to attack the POTUS and VP and national TF.
