The new voting machines here in Beaufort County are AMAZING!!! You get a blank long (light cardboard) "ticket". You put it into your voting machine. (It disappears). You then pick the candidate you want to vote for on the screen, then "Next" and "Confirm". The ticket reappears with the candidate's name printed on it. You then take this PRINTED ticket over to the last machine ... drop it in the slot, it scans your ticket and your vote is registered. Simple AND THEY HAVE THE PAPER COPY! A beautiful system, best I've seen in some time.
Felt kind of funny to vote for a Democrat. Turnout at my polling place was very light, I was the only one there at noon. I voted for Bernie so when Trump DESTROYS him in November I can proudly be part of that destruction!
Can’t wait to watch Bernie go down in flames tonight and his supporters all cry.
